We learned more great baby news from a few other friends, too! This week we learned that Rilyn's going to be a big sister! We are very happy for the Grillers and can't wait to find out in October 2012 if Rilyn is getting a baby brother or a baby sister. I told them to shoot for 10/10 - I hear it's a pretty cool birthday. ;) If only Taco Bell would bring back the Baja Chalupa - all would be right in the world. :) And last week we learned that our other friends, Chef & Beth, are also going to have a baby in October. Another "Better Beer Authority" baby on the way.
The rest of March was a blur - work was crazy and continues to keep me way busier than I'd like to be. Although I'm officially reporting to my new manager - I'm still pretty swamped with the responsibilities and projects from my previous position. I've been working weekends and weeknights when I can to try to get caught up. For awhile I was trying to work at night and staying up late to get things done. This past week I tried the getting in really early approach. Both seem to help me to get more done - but there's still always more to do. All of this working is getting a little old - but I just keep reminding myself that it's temporary. The good news is that they have hired someone to fill my spot, so hopefully this week I can start transitioning some of my workload to her. She's going to be a busy little bee! ;)
Anyway, I've been meaning to blog for awhile, but just haven't had the time. So thanks to Leah for getting me back on track. :) We did meet with Dr. Williams back on March 23rd - I will try to blog later this week and fill you in on our next steps. Since we met with him, you are safe in making the assumption that our Clomid cycle sadly did not do the trick. (I actually got my period the day before we left Guam - so that was a nice treat to deal with during the 26.5 hours of travel back home from Guam.) Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring us a baby tomorrow! A girl can dream, right? ;)
Just a few prayer requests... prayers for a friend at work who lost a nephew unexpectedly; for friends of a friend who lost their wife (and mother of 4) to cancer; for Scott's mom; for Rob's mom; for my nephew's preschool classmate's mom that is battling cancer; and prayers for Tony's dad and Jeremy's dad to continue to do well.
Tonight I'll leave you with a quote from the creator of Winnie the Pooh, since Leah's mom loves her some Pooh Bear. Happy Birthday, Leah! :) Everyone else, good night and Happy Easter!
