Yesterday a couple of my new friends from the "May 2011 FET" discussion board had their transfers - the first of our group. So I'm hopeful that they will both have successful results! I've been keeping up with the discussion board daily and posting to it pretty regularly. I'm learning lots of new acronyms, too. Like POAS (pee on a stick) and PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise). :)
This morning I took my very last Lupron shot of this cycle. Perfect timing - because my little Lupron vial is just about empty. Tonight before bedtime (which is going to be pretty soon) I need to take my very first progesterone suppository - it needs to go in down there, so that should be interesting. The suppository has to be refrigerated - so I used a little tiny ice pack (that came in the travel kit the nurse gave me) to keep it cold on the plane. Since then it's been waiting for me in my sister-in-law's fridge. My sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and in-laws are playing euchre at the table in the kitchen right now. They know what's going on with our cycle and what not - but I still feel weird getting my suppository out of the fridge. Don't want to make it awkward for my brother-in-law or father-in-law. Ah, well. :) Tomorrow I start up with my first progesterone shot of this cycle - these shots will continue through the transfer and beyond!
We are having a great time down in Charlotte! Today we spent the day at a PGA golf tournament with our family and tonight we went to a friend's house for dinner. It was the first time I've been to their place and I absolutely love their neighborhood and house. Tomorrow I'm meeting up with an old co-worker for breakfast and then at night more friends are coming over for a derby party (in honor of the Kentucky Derby, of course). Should be another fun day! Good night!!
