Oh, I forgot to write about the extra prayers I got while we were down in Charlotte. :) Last Thursday was the National Day of Prayer. A church close to my sister-in-law's house was having a prayer drive thru. They are also trying to have a baby - so we figured some extra prayers from the drive-thru for both of us couldn't hurt. We need all the prayers we can get. So we pulled up and a nice lady prayed for us to have some babies. Let's hope the prayer drive-thru does the trick. My mother-in-law was with us, too - so we were joking about how she'd probably be the one out of the three of us to get pregnant. ;)
My FET treatments are all going well - we managed to follow all of the instructions to a "T" down in Charlotte as well. I also normally would've enjoyed a few adult beverages during my time down there, but I didn't drink this weekend. Even though the doctor's office says I don't have any real restrictions until the transfer - I figured it probably wouldn't hurt to pass on the drinking this weekend. I'm also going to try to make it a point to get to bed early this week and make sure my body is well-rested for the big transfer. The progesterone suppository on Friday night wasn't really bad at all - the nurse was right, it's pretty much like a tampon (minus the applicator). A little bit of it came out after I got in bed - so not sure if that's expected or not. But I'm sure I will get more practice once this becomes a nightly activity after the transfer. The daily progesterone shots in the morning are fine - just like the IVF cycle. Tonight I started a 6 day prescription of Medrol - the purpose is to weaken my immune system to lessen the chance of my body attacking the embryo when it is transferred on Friday.
I'd like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers of the world out there - especially my momma! I love you, Mom!! :) When we dropped the rental car off at the airport in Charlotte, one of the rental car guys wished me a Happy Mother's Day. I just responded with "Thank you!" Then I turned to my husband as we walked away and said, "How does he know we have 6 frozen embryo babies?" =) I've been waiting all day for the embryos to call and wish me a "Happy Mother's Day" - I guess maybe they forgot. I guess I'll let it slide - just this once! ;)
