Work is still crazy busy - thought I was a bit distracted and not as focused today. The crazy news is that I'm still in the running for that other position within the company that I've been looking into. It's exciting and a little nerve-wracking. On Monday the hiring manager let me know that they changed the posting to a Staff Project Manager so that I could apply for it - the original position of Senior Project Manager was a bit over my experience. He also asked me to officially apply online and I have an interview on Friday with the hiring manager. I already had an off-the-record interview with the hiring manager's boss - so I must've passed their test. I think it will be a great opportunity for me if things work out. So we'll see - if I get it, I will be happy but a little sad to be leaving the position I'm currently in. And if I don't get it, then I'm still fine doing what I'm doing today. Either way - it's a win-win! Thanks to my family and my secret mentor for their guidance along the way.
We're still hoping for the best with this cycle - so keep us in your thoughts and prayers. :) I've been doing the ovulation kits each morning for the past week or so. I haven't detected my LH surge yet - but I'm going to keep testing.
This weekend I'm excited to go back to my hometown for a baby shower for Baby Malloy's mommy. I've had some cute pregnant friends and family members before - but I'm pretty sure Emily is going to be THE cutest pregnant girl ever. I can't wait to give her a big hug and feel her baby bump (we're close - so it's cool and not creepy). Some of our friends recently received good news in their baby quest as well - so I'd like to shout-out a big "Yay!" to the new baby on the way for one of the JAC club members. We know this new baby is going to be very loved by its family. :)
