Ellie and her camera-man joined us for our appointment - they told us just to act natural and pretend the camera wasn't there. We did our best! ;) Following the appointment, they did a little interview with Dr. Lindauer asking her if she's ever come across this scenario in her 10 years of being in practice. Then they wanted to interview us - so they set-up in Dr. Lindauer's office. The office isn't that big, so there wasn't room for them to interview all of us (Chrissy, James, Joby, and I) all at once. Ellie said they would plan to interview Chrissy and I first and then interview the guys together. So, Chrissy and I went in first. She asked questions about our journey and how this all came to be. Although it was kinda crazy talking to a real news reporter about our story - she was pretty easy to talk to, so we'll see how the interview turns out. I got teary-eyed at one point - which of course, set off my sister - who is the more emotional one of the two of us. I'm sure they will eat up that part. ;) Ellie seemed pleased with our interview - which is good. Unfortunately, after they got done with us - she said they had what they needed and would let the boys off the hook. Although this whole thing has definitely been a team effort among the four of us - I am a little bummed that my hubby didn't get interviewed. He's a pretty HUGE part of this story. But I know our segment will probably be short - so there's only so much they can show. If I had known the boys weren't going to be interviewed, I would've suggested that Joby be in there with me for the part when she was asking about when we started trying and what we tried leading up to this cycle. If we have any other interviews, I'll definitely do what I can to make sure he's included more. Anyway, our story is supposed to air at 5PM on Wednesday. It will also be made available online - so you know I'll be sure to post it to the blog as well. Hope you have a super Tuesday! And make sure you wish Paul a "Happy Birthday" today. :)
